The AWA is a vibrant and active women’s group for all nationalities, which is approximately 200 members. AWA is a non-profit organization (registered under the Ministry of Labour and Social Development) and have been an NGO for over 41 years. They promote charity, friendship and cultural understanding. They support over 35 different charities within the Bahraini Community and donate close to 30,000 BD a year. Their biggest fundraiser is our Cherry Tree Trot which takes place every two years.
